Preparing a few key details before the first discussion can make the school and course planning process much more focused.

1. Clarify your child’s goals

Start by considering what you want your child to achieve in New Zealand. Are you planning for primary or secondary schooling? Is the aim to complete a particular qualification, prepare for university, improve English, or explore a specific subject area? Your answer does not need to be final, but it helps advisers understand the direction you are considering.
